sfo:
saw a Japanese spec car last weekend.
very petite car, but looks sharp, modern and contemporary in the metal. Not over designed,
the manual roof is a work of genius .. so easy to operate whether putting up or down, any one who can drive can do it
interior works well, plastics are OK, and feels well built.
Loved it, and looking forward to driving one in late August when UK cars start arriving
Fully agree though as yet I dont think they have made it over here. Mazda deserve huge kudos, in an age where many (on RT included) gripe about increasing weight, size, gizmos etc in what used to be pure sports cars, for keeping the religion of small size, lightness, and simplicity. Apparently it is same weight as gen 1 despite increased safety needs, and slightly smaller! Could easily be a fun around town and short runs car, but only for people who do not live only for power.
