You guys read all about the botched 918 job from me before, the mess just continued to the GT3RS.
For some reason Porsche is messing up the ordering and production process lately, the production side and marketing side is not communicating properly.
At least I know my car is done, but seems like it is 'lost', no one can quite locate where it is right now.

Your car isn´t lost. It is located at one of the slots for reworking. And these slots are full of GT3 RS cars. The car is very expensive in the production, I have explained before. So many new and/or different parts: carbon, magnesium, 918, .... for a very small amount of cars. But be happy, it will be checked in detail and everything will be fixed and re-checked.

Aldo is 100% on track. I know they have a "special check" for some exclusive cars or cars with a certain specification. And the guy in the Suttgart PZ told me recently this section is full of GT3s (I asked him if they produce only GT3 right now as all around the factory you can see more wings then cars without - so thats what he answered).

They said the same thing about my 918 too and you guys all hear about what happened. Haha
My car is done, done. As in it is suppose to be at the shipping lot, but because of my last minute request to try and get a factory delivery slot, it is suppose to be pull aside. No one quite sure whether my car has successfully been pull aside or it was too late and made it onto a transport.

Super Darius:Whoopsy:Or they sent my car to the Exclusive department to be converted to your car
can work, now i NEED that car...also if is yours.
Will need to burst your bubble, you will need to wait just a tad longer. I was just told that they have found my car
It was already on a vessel across the Atlantic, ETA to me around 3 weeks or so.
Anyway, I was just told Toronto had already received the 1st RS in Canada, the 2nd one is on a truck and suppose to arrive in Vancouver this Saturday.
Bitter sweet, Porsche really fast tracked the 918 customers cars, too fast I think as I wasn't quick enough to stop the car in order to pick it up at the factory. Oh well, plan B for October.

Whoopsy:There are times when I hate Porsche's own tracking system. It would seems the vessel that my car is on has already docked at Halifax port as of yesterday. The Porsche internal system hasn't been updated to reflect that yet.
my hopes are that Schettino's brother can make something again, also if the vessel is just docked at the port...maybe he can fix worse the lifter door and the car can fall in the sea...a lot of things can happen again

I'm afraid you are right. This happened with my Panamera Turbo S...until someone I know took care of the situation and actually "found" my car. My advice to Porsche: Just tell customers the truth, so they aren't kept in the dark. This is the best way to deal with the situation. Keeping things under wraps just starts speculations, rumors and only bad things can happen from that.

Or maybe his car is half put together before the holiday and when they come back they forgot what's missing.
