    Why cost this would cost a penny more than the GT3 RS? It should actually be significantly cheaper than the turbo and the RS...

    If I understand it correctly it's more then that as it sharpens PDK and PSM as well.

    It is some kind of electrical turbo precharging. I got pdf that can not post here yet or send to someone but, car is a technical wonder. If everything works as described in this german pdf 991.2 will be the Benchmark.

    No, I will take very low option 991.1 and get 991.2 as soon as orders open up. 

    New engines are state of the art. They are more advanced then 488 GTB engine. 

    My P source told me directly to order low options GTS(-20mm/SPASM and some items) since it will be an easy car to sell or trade. He also said that 991.2 C4S with power kit and all drive dynamic goodies is better in every possible way then 991.1 Carrera GTS(also equiped with drive dynamics goodies). Only thing where current GTS could be superior is exhaust sound.

    No, car will go to my business partner here in early 2016 when I get 991.2 

    He wants 991.2 GTS but, he is not willing to pay price of new one. Therefor I ordered the car in his desired color and low specs (I just added -20mm). I will drive it until 991.2 arrives. It will be also a good thing to compare both generations directly.

    I think I am excited.

    Porsche has  a bunch of madmen engineers.

    Now Porsche needs a bunch of madmen designers.  New FL exterior is nice, but still has a bit of a "bolt on/scoop/plastic bumper" look.  If new generation in 2018 progresses in body design like performance is progressing now, it's "Katie, bar the door".

    Impatiently waiting for more information and pleasantly surprised, and pleased, to see a manual in one of the photographs.  I guess the new AM N430 might not get as much use as I had first thought.

    I think this sounds similar to technology that Audi has displayed before (electric turbos)??  Works on high-voltage supply.  Hope this is reliable from first year...

    Power will be approximately....

    540ps-550ps for 991.2 Turbo and 580ps-600ps for 991.2 Turbo S (lower number is safer bet). Updated suspension, updated engines,  even faster and more efficient.
