Milanno:At they end of the day seems that Porsche made amazing job with 918! They made true drivers car that can be used pretty often in various situations

But why did you let go of the 4.0 ?
I am too long from my hips to my feet for efficient heel-and-toe pedal work. I tell people that I am 6'4" on average because I'm 6'1" from the waist to top of my head, whereas I'm 6'7" from my waist to the bottom of my feet. The foot box in every modern Porsche is too cramped and the center console is too close to the sides of my legs to allow them to move correctly for good pedal technique.
My old 1974 IROC RS was perfect because it had no console at all and I could place my lower legs anywhere I pleased. In that car, I could play all three pedals like the foot pedals on a pipe organ. It was great. My old 914-6 was pretty much the same way ... great! Ever since in Porsches I have owned, ... not so much.
So, ... I am moving to 2-pedal trackable cars from 3-pedal trackable cars. I want to be fast at the track, not nostalgic
A 991 GT3 RS is coming my way to solve the leg-room-caused shift-delicacy problem that the RS 4.0 presented. It's a personal ergonomics decision.

Yes. PTS in Birch green (lichtgrun) old Porsche color #253. Same exact color as my old '74 911 RS/IROC (9114600040). Slated for arrival next Spring.

It changes from charcoal indoors to silver highlights in direct sun. Two colors for the price of one

This is very interesting photo! 918 seems very fit & compact compared to Carrera GT. Only part that I would change on 918 are mirrors.
Mike, when you sum up your impressions please dont forget to include aspects like driving on uneven surface, ease of use compared to your other cars and I am also very curious is 918 much easier for servicing compared to Carrera GT.

Not sure it is perfect but flashy colors, especially pastel colors, seem to fit the 918 pretty well.
