Yesterday I have heard, that you can now order every color for the RS. You have to pay something around 4.000 €.
The opposite is reported on Rennlist;
"It seems there is a full stop on PTS due to quality control issues. This might be lifted if they resolve the issues but I am getting the impression that this is unlikely."

Kobalt:Whoopsy, are you sure it is Mexico Blue: Some at Rennlists says it is Miami blue?
Miami Blue makes perfectly sense since Porsche belongs to the Volkswagen Group now and VW / AUDI had a colour with this name during the 70ies of the last century
Talking about colours (what else can we talk about since Dario, Gnil and the entire RS crowd still has nothing to play with other than 1:18 scale models ) yesterday I was astonished to spot a L-O GTS in a nearby PZ. I thought the colour would have been "reserved" as a special RS colour for a while ?

Don't know about the GTS, but that guy in the background seems to have a PTS face?

The guy probably just went pale after checking out some price stickers in the showroom: 964 Turbo for 290 kEUR, 997 4.0 RS for 350 kEUR, 997.1 GT3 RS for 200something...
@ Kobalt: thanks for clarifying...I lost overview about Porsche's recent "colour policy"...

It's not reserved to the RS indeed, I have seen a 991 cab sporting Salmon Orange as well.

Yes, lava orange is not reserved for the RS (which is a pity) and I still don't get that salmon orange thing. To me, it looks more like a pastel orange. Btw: I eat salmon at least once a week.

Whoopsy:PTS window was closed back on July 7th. Confirmed orders will have a delay of 4 months unless it's black, Mexico Blue or yellow, which will only be 1 month. No new PTS orders accepted.
I got different information today. According to Porsche Switzerland, they have now added 3 official colors and any customers can order it ( Miami blue, Signal yellow and black . part of the Special colors , but they are not PTS anymore )
PTS can still be ordered, at least for the late deliveries , but one must not wait too long .
PTS got too complicated, that' s why they are stoping it and added the 3 above colors.
I am a but pissed off, as it would of been nice to have that choice since the start !

I agree , it is the best combo with the inside color , even if I did not take the seats in orange, but the sticking and the cage + the little band on the steering wheel in orange .
I am only tempted by a blue ( or green ) . Now they offer a blue, I just would of liked to be able to choose . I know I will be happy at the end with my Salmon for sure anyway .
Great news for you . My sales guy is on holidays, I can not even call him to see if something has happen with my car

Option code 888 . This option came up only about two weeks ago . I think your order was already looked .
But maybe they put the orange anyway in orange inside cars . It is a bit strange to have it in yellow

Just came back from Zuffenhausen's Exclusive Room.
The small one is Miami-Blue...the other colors are: Maritime, Riviera, Vodoo, Mexico and Vipergreen.
We got the same information - no new PTS-Orders, but Black, Yellow an Miamiblue is no Problem. I have seen at least 40-50 GT3RS, lots of Lava, UV and White. Just one Black and very few GT-Silver.
