It's all relative. The GT3 clutch forces have been about 60% heavier than manual 911s, IIRC.

i don't think 987 clutch is heavy at all. I had one for several yrs. if anything it's a tad too light.
GT3 clutch, yes. H-E-A-V-Y but I got used to it very soon and it becomes a non-issue. still annoying at stop start traffic and don't even think about it if you have a bad knee.
I am just happy GT4 it's in between the two.

The cage is from Wiechers and it's the first they put inside a GT4 for Raeder/Manthey. Apparently it is road legal, the Porsche factory one, on the other hand, is not. Why this cage has a Porsche Motorsport sticker on it, I do not know.
The seat is a Recaro Profi SPG from the looks of it.

The Pole Position is about the same size as the Profi SPG. You can find the dimensions of the seats on Recaro's website. Unless I'm mistaken the OEM LWB is fitted on the passenger side.

Pole Position is definitely wider than Profi, but you make a good point if the LWB is mounted on passenger side.

at current rates of development, not to far in the future , supercars will accelerate 0-150 mph in 8 seconds and with that, manufacturers will require you to tap on the media screen to agree to absolve the automaker of liabilty from passing out at the wheel, torn aortic aneurysm, ruptured brain aneurysm or stroke, retinal detachment , etc., etc., since fit and trim racers or fighter pilots and flabby way out of shape chain smoking 300 lb diabetic 65 year olds , as drivers or passengers, are very different real world health risks when using launch control in said vehicles !
