Re: McLaren on a winning streak

    I love the 675LT  ( and not for it's front look ) .

If I could I would get one immediately... ( when I test drove the MP4 , at the time, I already liked the essence of what  McLaren was made of  )  and then compare it to my RS smiley

Looking forward to your impressions when you will be testing the RS + LT together .

I saw last week  riving on the road the only Singer that is in Switzerland . A black one .  Also way high on my wish list .

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

The looks are subjective, it certainly looks better in reality than in pictures and has a lot of presence. The front is very organic, side and rear are gorgeous I find.

Yes Porker good point, I fill find out on the track and let you know. I predict the RS to have more grip and to be just as competent on the track, we will see.

The Singer is really fun, I've had mine for over two years now, it's a little hot rod. Not perfect, for example, on a daily basis it's not the best car (compared to its brethren of course), I find my 993RS to be a much more rounded product and much sweeter in terms of feedback, but on the right roads and right conditions, the Singer delivers. Very very expensive though. Great car but not for everyone.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Sounds like McLaren knocked it out of the park with the 675LT.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

    Congrats.

Yes it does. Mclaren quotes 1328 kg without options so the number is coherent.

compared to the competition its very very light

Very impressive. Thanks for sharing with us.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Thanks a lot for the update about 675LT.

Im also curious why you dont sell the LFA as you mencioned before...IMO you should keep it... already looks a classic comparing with other ultra mega super sport cars indecision

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

You are right. I wanted to sell it because it wasn't perfect (ergonomics, US Car, Etc) but I got zero offer. Today I am very happy I didn't sell it, yes the car has faults, but they are details and the fundamentals are brilliant.

And it's also my best sounding car with the carrera GT.

Just a little shy of the 918 time and he said they would easily get it into the 23s.

I wouldn't say that exactly. The top of that list is composed of AWD and/or much higher powered cars, many with way more aggressive tires. I'm guessing the narrower tires hold it back some. It was also a prototype if I'm not mistaken. There is a video review of the lap on YouTube.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

Guys, wait until you see the 991.2 Turbo S times on semi-slicks. indecision Even the road tire PZero has been improved a lot. On the Nordschleife, the new 991.2 Turbo S is 9(!) seconds faster than the "old" one. With only 20 hp more.

But does any of this translate into a more enjoyable experience on the road?  I think that is the big question, as all of these cars are fast enough already.  Once the car excites the driver, then these lap times become less relevant.

Re: McLaren on a winning streak

The big track at Willow Springs requires power for best time. On the straight you can get up to 150MPH if not more. I don't believe it would be suitable for the GT4 since it is somewhat underpowered.
