Porker:I agree with him on the looks, it's brilliant.
Speaking of the Speedtail: Muc Collector Jr. (the guy with less taste than his father , forgot to mention that there is a younger version of Muc Collector as well) spent some time with the Speedtail in Hockenheim a few days ago.
Also interesting what Muc Collector Jr. has to say about the Huracan Performante (keep in mind that he has access to all those amazing cars his father owns):
Oh well...
I know, we don't have taste.

4WD for one car? for sure.
for a sportscar or a supercar, definitely not

Have you driven one? Many people think this is a regular Huracan with some wing attached to it. Couldn't be further away from the truth and even the standard Huracan (not Evo) is already a great car. The only reason is didn't throw the GT3 RS off the track lover's throne is the lack of head room and proper six point harness install. Also, lately, the car is way too loud for most tracks, which is unfortunate.

Yes, driven. I understand the 4WD appeal but I don’t like it.
on negative point, I would add these terrible rock solid seats
Taking the throne of the 3RS is only possible if the huracan becomes more hardcore but also more cost effective. Carbon brakes by steel options for instance.

That said, really can't complain about the PCCB's, they've taken a beating, but aside from pads hasn't cost me anything over 35k km.
1969 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 / 2008 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (sold) / 2011 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Performance / 2014 BMW-Alpina D3 biturbo Touring / 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Clubsport
PCCB are pretty indestructible. With a surface hardness that's close to a diamond, nothing can scratch it, if a pebble or something got caught between the rotor and pad, it will just be grounded down to dust, or if it's between the wheel and the brake rotor, then a deep gouge on the wheel barrel.
The only weakness on a PCCB system is the rotor hat. PCCB has a much higher heat capacity than steel rotors so a lot more heat is absorbed in the system, the hat is the weak spot and with enough heat it will warp. Happened to my 918 twice. Also happened to the 'press' cars for the Panamera turbo S launch. A few Porsche drivers that will remained un-named were hot lapping the car the day before for fun, warping all the rotors. There was no time left to change them out so when the press finally drove them, the brakes were let's say having a bit of vibrations. It was explained as 'pre-production' teething issue.............
Can't comment on other brand's carbon disc quality though.

No one complains about PCCB's till they receive 20Ke bill to replace the front rotors
you can't see the rotor wear except if you play with the fancy tool which measure carbon %. New set of pads will wear faster as there is already carbon transferred to the rotor from the previous one.
all in all, if you compare cost/longevity of one against the others, there is no advantage to PCCB's.
We have a fleet of GTs here where we can compare all sort of stuff apart from our lap times and believe me this brake subject is one of the favorite.
PCCB's is great is you can absorb the operating cost. Track hobby is already expensive enough to add this factor in.

PCCB is an amazing option, even for casual(!) track racing.
I love the brake feel of ceramic brake systems, only the one in my E63 S wasn't that great (compared to PCCB or the system in my Performante or even R8).

Oh God, now there will be even more of these ghastly Gulf racing colour schemes on cars, bad enough with all the Porsches painted this way....
on another note, was that gravel gas station in rural Poland the only place they could find for the announcement photoshoot??
