Have fun guys ! I am putting my car to sleep for the winter as of today . I did 10'000 km this season, which is not bad for a fun week end / track toy . I am not going to do any other track days, and just driving it around here is kind of boring for me at the moment .

Hi Kobalt,

Saw you for a moment but think you were in group 2, I was in 1. Today's format wasn't really to my liking. Too many participants and on top of that my time on the track was cut short by a full session, as well as in the last last session I managed only 1 lap due to a crashed 991RS in Spiegelkurve.

In total only 10 laps which is not very much for a 'trackday'.

Will do few more laps tomorrow anyway. See you at the Ring sometime!

The Ring is amazing in October - November:

The colors, the fog in the morning: If it is not fog at the entrance it means that there is fog down in Breidsheid, the wet track - drying up, very often wet in the morning. How Kesselchen is dry but suddenly in the afternoon somehow gets wet again without any rain. The temperature difference: 9°C at T13 and 3°C on Kesselchen in the morning.
The clear cold air. The beer in the afternoon sun...

I agree, there's no better season to visit the ring. The evenings, cosy in the fog, during the day the beautiful autumn colors. The track treacherous but still drivable. Love it!

Are you going again this month? I'm going for one more TF later in November.
