I have a December GT3 build. I just found out that I can order my car with bucket seats. I'm looking for advice from people who have these seats in their GT3's. I'm 6' tall, 210lbs. This wil be my DD. I really like the way the bucket seats look. Am I gonna be able to live with them on a daily basis? I know the back is not adjustable. Is the height adjustable? I had the 18 way adjustable seats in my Panamera GTS and loved them. My SA thinks I should stick to the 18 way seats.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I would order them, theyre excellent., and much more appropriate for the gt3s nature than cruising seats. I disagree with nick, i think theyre comfie, not as good as ferrari racing seats but very close.

Haha, was referring to trading the Macan turbo for a gt3.....! Ive gotta have those lug Speciale wheels to run the South Island, and think how low profile it will be without that gt3 ricer wing:) ( but the gt3 could be the grocery runner to Takaka :)Cheers!
Dude. The Speciale is going to stick out like Dogs Bollix in the South Island. They all drive Toyota Hilux down there LOL!
Your long suffering missus should join a club with mine :-)
Seriously tho with the CL wheels havent been a problem yet in the 5000km Ive done. That said I have the special wrench and jack in the car now just in case!
Haha Mark,
after seeing how invisible the RS was in the far far North, the Top of the South will hardly notice it
I never had a flat with the turbo s but i sure carried all the tools.....youre smart to do so

I use my 991 GT3 as a daily drive and went for the standard seats. They are superb. Yes, if I were to mainly track the car the buckets would be the best choice by far. The buckets are also quite comfortable but what swings it for me is that I have to get in and out of them on a daily basis in parking places with limited space. I found that getting in and out of the buckets can be a bit cumbersome. Also, it is not as if you slide around in the standard seats - the support is great and the alcantara leather very grippy. My advice would be to go to the dealer and try both if possible as it is quite a personal choice.

+1 Try before deciding.
IMHO, If you never intend to track the car the buckets are pointless (except for the cool factor which for some people is very important). Then you might as well go for comfort and get the standard seats which are great. I have them in mine even though I track fairly often and even on the track they are great. Much better than the sport seats in the 997.

I have buckets in my DD. Perfectly comfortable (for me, anyway - 1.83m) and give a lot more connected feel. The most compromising thing IMO is the slightly more awkward access. It gets easier in time, but always a little more hassle than normal seats.

Curiously, Andy said the exact same thing to me this evening. Perhaps I'll give it a scratch in the morning ;-)
Go down to Zug and let them give you a real good scratch
Then to avoid the car becoming a Migros milk carrier you can register for Scuderia too. With a GT3 in the garage we need to increase those track day attendances. I volunteer as companion
