Got my car after more than a year of waiting. Very happy so far. Compared to my 997.2 Carrera S it feels like a huge leap forward. The speed of the PDK, the responsiveness and the shorter gear ratios makes the car feel so much more alive. I intend to use it as a daily drive and so far it seems up to the job although I must say it would probably not cut it as a daily drive for a non-enthusiast because of firm ride, low ground clearance and limited rearward visibility. To me it feels like an occasion every time I drive it - even if I don't drive it hard. :-)

That is great to hear. The concern I've had is whether it's still fun to drive just tooling around town due it being less raw than prior GT3s and lack of a manual. GT3's have always had the send of occasion so this is great.
991 GT3 incoming, 964 Turbo 3.6, E36 M3 ltw S54 conversion, bunch of other stuff

This car is not legal, anyway. It is outside any type approval.
Even if it is not a GT3 but a modified Carrera 4, the use of the front deep spoiler is not approved by Porsche without the rear wing.
I had a sports front apron installed on the Carrera S and although it is the one with the small front lip and approved without the rear wing, the handling of the car changes.

There is the lip on the front trunk, so I believe it is indeed a GT3 with the rear wing chopped off. Interesting comment about how a minor change on the front apron can alter the handling of a car!
