Looks fantastic. I agree, great balance of aggression and style.
Interesting that the front bumper doesn't match the 2014 Turbo with respect to the signal lights. I guess that will be reserved for the Turbo/Turbo S then? Also, I was expecting to see carnards because the mules on the 'ring had them.
I really like the look of the car. Can't wait to see it in colors!

Thanks Enmanuel
Aleardo will be 5 years old in September,he is fine, only a few little problems, but nothing to worry about...is life..
Coming back on cars, really i think to make the right choice,i need something special to stay with a few,and this RS seems to be really special!
Can't wait to see final specs and to take it home.

Wow, that is crazy!!! I do not like it. Let me tell you why... this looks way too aggressive.. I would call this the 991 GT 3 RSR.
What happened to classy design and understatement. I don't like this trend.....
I dislike this trend It is almost like Porsche hired someone from BMW M.. you know the guy who's been ruining M cars for a decade now with over styled aggressive bumpers etc...

Same here. 991 GT3 looks way better IMO. 991 GT3 RS looks too agressive and almost aftermarket for me. It will look good on any track and quite rediculose on any public road.
991 GT3 is close to perfection IMHO design wise in been sportscar with excellent track abilities. RS is unfortunately overdesigned.

Hmm, why is it, that every time a new model appears there is this talk about...this is "not aggressive enough for an RS", now, this is "too aggressive for an RS" ?? Fine with me, though I do not post often I do like to read all the comments...so, keep them coming...still, when these cars are being used on a track, there is nobody complaining about the "looks"....
Personally, if form follows function, let them look like this. I was in Hockenheim last Sunday and had a look on how these new GT3 perform - it is awesome !! - One sees these cars more or less "gliding smoothly" on a straight although with warp speed...so, to feed this thread, under these conditions the GT3s looked nearly too "elegant" ... Therefore, I like the way the new RS looks ...

Well in my neck of the woods it's used by 20 somethings with an N (for novice driver) sticker on the back going down Robson street (kinda like the Koenigsallee in Duesseldorf) There it will look very odd. It's now looking like the kinda car that will attract the kind of crowd who's just getting into this new frat.

RS is supposed to look that way, it was way too tame for some customers and I think Porsche did right here.
They want to make good for the GT3 disaster but while the GT3 RS may succeed, it won't make current GT3 owners happier since some of them actually would have wanted (or still want) the RS version and the GT3 delay kind of made a huge dent into customer confidence.

Not more than Turbo S, is it?
last official price tag(from my dealer with first real info about rims dimensions, lightweight parts, etc) was 176 K euros 22%Vat enclosed,BASE PRICE in Italy.
Info was from around February 2014,then the engine problems at the GT3 and the delay...so,i don't know if something changed.
But i think and hope that base price will be not more than a Turbo S...

Agree - I think they nailed it - will look much better in proper painted colors.

It's supposed to be the homologation of the race car, so it should look like a race car...
Nothing is there purely for show, it's all to make it go faster and more importantly to allow the race car to go faster. I like it even though it's a little boy racerish. I do prefer the back and engine cover of the cup car over this but more than the looks I'd love to see a sub 3,000 lbs curb weight.
And if they are going to do that to the roof, I'd hope it's in carbon!

IMO just wait till you see better quality photos with more striking paintwork ... I think it will look really aggressive (in a nice way) ... a real beast :)

This could be it. Looks like a real weapon to me. I don't like the PDK-only trend (though that's the way forward unfortunately) but I must say I can appreciate its aggressiveness. (as d997h says, 'if form follows function')
