MKSGR:To keep any remaining chance - I would not write this on the Internet
Haha, I am just being honest and myself.
It's not like I am dying for one, if they want me as a customer, they will have to play the game by my rules, not the other way around.
I am not their typical customer who was hot for a Ferrari for a long time and went to play their game of buying a few used one then gets to order a new car at retail. As a matter of fact, I said sell me a LaFerrari and I will buy the Speciale off their hands

Is that champagne one actuall champagne, or is it the $65K paint catching some sun?
That was the liquid metal reflect the sunset/sunrise
After seeing the range of this color in different light, I now think I might actually pay $65K for it. It reflections the environment really well. Goes from silver to a touch of blue from the sky to champagne in the sunset.

No doubt it is the perfect color for the 918. The color elevates the car visually and makes it look like a million dollar car.
I bet it looks absolutely stunning in macadamia brown or something elegent like that... dark blue metallic, arctic silver... sealskin grey...
How hard are the color limitations? I can not imagine that a PTS 918 would be more expensive than the 65k color option...

Very impressive.
Just noticing, there sounds like a slightly different transition (slight pause) between first and second gears, as compared to all the others. This may have been mentioned before, or I may be hearing things.
Does anyone else notice this? It may just be due to the stronger torque at the shift point at the top of first...

Crazy!!! ...and it seems that was done in 'SPORTS' mode, not Race or in Hot lap!
Woopsy mate, how are you doing btw.

Seems to slip the clutch quite a bit from 2-3 and 3-4 and later. slipping at those hight speeds and taller gears generates a lot of heat and wear.
Also - I looked at the latest Road And Track performance test and it seems that the car tops out in fourth gear! The rest achieve the same speed at fewer RPM. From what I recall it was like 64mph in 1st, 110mph in 2nd, 140 mph in 3rd and so on. Shorter gears would perhaps help a lot (given traction).

Color is of course subjective, and i respect you view Emmanuel. The car is graphite grey, with silver calipers and numerous carbon and titanium touches on the exterior. Interior is black leather with red stitching. Stunning in my view.
i have seen other brighter colors on the P1--yellow, light blue, for example--and they make the car appear toy-like to me.
I respect that a lot and it is very subjective. Maybe under a different light it would look better. Also the more I see pics and videos of the P1 I'm becoming convinced that it's one of those cars you just can't really appreciate unless you see it in the metal, the shapes don't seem to translate well to 2D

Interesting to do V-MAX with the tire pressure warning sign on......
918 has two tyre pressure modes - standard and performance:
Standard: 41/41 psi
Performance: 30/33 psi
This warning appears at exactly 270km/h and disappears when the speed drops below this level.
