    Someone on Rennlist (Bob Rouleau from Canada) is confirming 4.0L normally aspirated motor for RS.

    That would be fantastic ...... but how reliable is that info ?

     Bob is pretty reliable (been around for many years and has tracked/raced several generations of GT cars), but I guess nothing is 100%.

    I wouldn't say anything from Bob is gospel (because unless you're an employee in the know it can't be), but he does know his stuff and has good to very contacts. 

    It also makes sense which does help...

    That was back in the days when the Targa roof concept was not as prone to noises if the body was subjected to severe loads as the current concept is and the typical Targa buyer was not as prone to complaining about such noises arising in a sports car.
