Fully optioned Speciale with lots of carbon, track camera, telemetry, extra extra leather parts, alcantara seats, headliner etc. all optioned very well Should have a very high list price
I'm curious how you find the car once start pushing.
Enjoy the beast in best of health.
BTW, is it the only Speciale in Rennteam?

LOL, Fully is the keyword. The only option the original orderer didn't pick was the floor mats. MSRP starts @345k CAD. The one has almost 150k in options including 24k for air freight.
I know watt has one on order, and I think I ran across someone mentioned they got one in one of the threads.
@noone1
I don't see a drain hole anywhere on the floor, maybe I didn't look hard enough yet, but at least there is a rubber pad around the heel area for grip. I already had them order a set of carpets, at the insistence of the one wearing heels.
@Keithos27
I haven't try to put the car in different modes and starting it to listen, but on a cold start it is a bit loud idling, no where close to 12C loud. But it quiets down when it gets warm. On warm starts it is not loud at all, just a hint of racy note.
On idle, the Speciale sounds a little bit different than a regular 458, the note has a bit more vibrations. Loudness wise about the same.
Also I was told about the 3 pipes in a stock 458, normally all the exhaust goes out in the central one, but when the valve opens the exhausts are routed to the 2 outer ones and skipping the middle pipe.

Leica S, serious hardware at a serious price... with all the lenses you would be close to $50k...
Try double that. I have the whole set.
Had regular full frame camera before, but I fell in love with the bokeh that can only be achieved with medium format.
I also find that I didn't need as much post-processing on photos, all the posted ones are straight out of camera, didn't bother to work on them. Major time saver.
Nick, give yourself some time behind the wheel. The Ferrari experience will infect you.
BTW, what did your wife think of the car? Since Ferrari's are loud and attract a lot of attention, wives often do not like riding in them. My wife rode in my 430 Spider about three times even though I owned it for almost two years. She preferred her Porsche.
Usually, I am not a big fan of white on a Ferrari but I think your car looks spectacular.

So much good material to choose from, lets see highlights are:

Call me crazy, but I think the 12C has a better steering feedback than the Speciale, I know I am still new to the car but I feel more of the road through the steering wheel in the 12C than the Speciale.
That is exactly what I would expect. Ferrari has not ever made a car with power steering that had good feel. My 550 Maranello had worse feel than a Corvette. Their old manual racks were very good, but lost their way on this issue since (I think 348 and F50 were the last manual racks).
12C has a nice hydraulic rack with electric motor running the pump - this is what Porsche should be doing now.

Heavy doesn't means good feel.
While the 12C do have a lighter steering wheel than the Speciale, it has more feedback.
I can feel the paver stones on my driveway in the 12C, not on the Speciale, and through the steering wheel I can feel the caster working on the front suspension geometry in the 12C.
Feel also doesn't sharpness, the Speciale has sharper steering, could be because of the quicker rack, it just feel more eager to turn.
I suspect McLaren dialed in more positive caster than the Ferrari.

We drove it 2 days now, and she loved it every time. So much easier for her to get in and out of the car. Even in dresses. She is itching to drive it and she didn't with the 12C.
She is still complaining about the lack of carpet though. And the pebble noise from the wheel well. And the fire extinguisher. And the fact that she can't change the radio.
But interestingly, in her own words, from her experience from the passenger seat, she thinks the 12C is easier to drive. She asked me that question. I still need some more seat time to be able to have a definite judgement, but she could be correct as the Speciale is less stable on road crowns and ruts, it tracks off line more easily than the 12C, so my hands are definitely more busy correcting the steering angle.
