Must be worldwide... here in Spain Porsche dealerships must be separate, they may own other brand dealerships of course, but the Porsche showroom and shop must be on a separate location, with the cooporate exterior look, and cannot be shared with any other brand.

Here in Switzerland, or at least at Porsche Zug, they are since last year or so also selling Bentleys at the Porsche showroom.

Actually, moving Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti under one roof would make a lot of sense to me.

However, the Macan could spoil the party a little bit, not sure where it fits in.

I suppose so - but Porsche is no longer exclusive unlike the other marques you mention - would a Bentley or Lamborghini client want to rub shoulders with the great unwashed buying their basic Macan? Smiley

Is it just me, or is Porsche getting more and more ridiculous with their facelifts?
I used to be able to see the differences between teh pre- and post facelift cars, but ever since they released the "facelifted" panamera, I have to admit that most of the times, I have no clue...

For me this looks like new head and taillights with led spots (1st picture) and new skirts. Is it just me or do you think the outer air ducts on the front are sort of panamera facelift style, probably due to active aerodynamics??

Cause the biggest difference in the Panamera is the ass-lift. Smiley

The trunk opening on the old model starts at the license plate opening, the 'face lifted' version starts half way up.

According to current speculation, power will shift from the naturally-aspirated flat-sixes to four-cylinder turbos with 2.0L and 2.5L displacements (probably 2.0L for the Boxster/Cayman and 2.5L for the Boxster S/Cayman S). There are conflicting reports as to whether the four-cylinder will be a flat-four based on the flat-six or an inline-four, but more info on that should be out once a little more time passes.

they FACE lifted the Panamera ? Its the BACK that needed the surgery

All reports seem to indicate that the facelifted 981 models will receive the new turbo fours, so we should see them by late 2015/early 2016.

The silver Boxster, obviously a flat six sounds wonderful, the black Cayman which follows, clearly a flat four and sounds more like a cow that's eaten too much sileage. Awful. Smiley

Best to buy a 6 flat six Boxster / Cayman whilst they are still around. surprise

The Cayman in that movie does indeed sound terrible. The Boxster however is a different story. I'm probably in the minority, but I actually like that sound very much. But unless most other people, I'm not a big fan of the current flat-6 with PSE. i like it lot better without the PSE, so I guess I'm not normal smiley

If it is quicker and faster than the 6 cyl ones, thats fine with me. They don't sound too bad at all. Back in its day, no one complained about the performance of the 944 Turbo S or even the 968. or even about 2 liter 914s. Its easy to get 400hp from a turbo 4cyl engine these days, so if the new Boxsters come with a fat power upgrade and weigh less, thats great.

my first Porsche was a new 944 turbo in 1986. Being new to the marque , I bought it over a 911 because it was the latest thing tech wise and it slightly outperformed the " old " 911 on all magazine measurements, at 3/4 the price of the latter .

I sold it less than a year later for an '87 Targa , as I found the 944 turbo lacking in soul , especially the generic motor sound !
