Thanks guys,
A pretty bad weekend for us sadly. The ELMS race was actually ok, we had the pace but with two bronze drivers we were slower than the top cars and poor performance in the pit. Shame.
Then the WEC was even worse, we got a stop and go penalty for a silly mistake, that cost us overall two minutes, despite that we were catching up and then mid race, the rear differential broke, end of the race. My stint was not easy, same conditions than Le Mans last year, not dry, not wet. I was on slicks the whole stint but the fast curves of the track, Copse and Stowe were greasy.
Traffic is easier than ELMS, there's less cars and the P1 are so fast they don't bother you although the team orders must different with different teams. The 919s are somewhat cooler and wait til a straight to go for it, the Toyota are a lot more aggressive, justs gunning past you in Beckets if you leave the slightest hole.
Performance wise, we were good in the wet but nowhere in the dry. We knew it, no surprises here, the 997 is an old car now in the WEC and the 2012 RSR is notoriously difficult to setup properly. But still we're a good two seconds behind the opposition.
Better luck next time, bring on Spa! Thanks for the nice messages.
