After a dominant win for Mercedes in Malaysia today, I'm expecting a similar outcome in the hot, dry, dusty conditions in Bahrain.

I hope some of the other teams make some good progress by then. What makes it boring for me is when one team is too dominant, like RBR recently or Ferrari in the past. I don't really care about the sound, although, it's going to make it harder for Massa to claim he couldn't hear the radio transmissions.
Sadly, more bad luck for Ricciardo today, though, and again, not his fault. Raikkonen too.

Vettel might well agree, but Daniel Ricciardo seems to have done rather well with RBRenault so far!
Unfortunately, RBR hasn't done rather well with Ricciardo. Qualified 3rd, starting 13th because of Malaysia's pit fiasco.
Also, a lot more of teammate running with teammate today than is typical, which tells that the competition, not just at the front, is almost entirely between manufacturers and not much at all between drivers.
Not that teammates aren't fighting each other for position. There were certainly some good battles on track, but mostly within teams, which must have made for many nervous moments at the pit wall.

Completely agree with apias, today we saw a race between teamamtes al the way down the grid, a lot of overtaking on the race yes, but in the end it was between teamates and the resukts were dictated by which team you belonged to more than anything else.
Congratulations to Ferrari, they have dropped another spot in the ranking of car perfomance, they are now 11-12th in terms of performance behind Mercedes, Redbull, Force India, WIlliams, and McLaren 
... and on top of it its not like its reliable either, they have had on/off technical problems in every race too.
Montezemolo didn't even stay to watch the end of the race and left the boxes, I guess from shame...
The upside is that ALL the teams let their dirvers race against each other and there didn't seem to be any team orders, which made for some exitement today compared to the typical boring race that we are used to.
Hamilton and Rosberg won but who wouldn't with the advantgae they have over the rest, so congrats to Perez for the 3rd place and especially Ricciardo for his 4th coming from 13th on the grid and outperforming his teammate Vettel again.

Mercedes 3 for 3... maybe Bernie should make them race with the SLS instead to keep it level

Historically this has been the usual level of Ferrari in F1. Between the 70s (Lauda 2 and Scheckter 1) and the Schumacher Era they hardly won anything. Why does this slump come as a surprise?
Ferrari has always been more show than substance.
What's happening with Vettel? His car is not bad. Is he just unlucky or something else?
