CloseI have the opportunity to by a Bentley Continental T Le Mans , year 2002 . They have only produced 5 , so it is very rare .
I could probably have it at an interesting price .
Is there a market for this car ? It this a ' nice ' model ? already a collector ?
Any input from people who know about this kind of cars is appreciated .

At some stage, older cars start to appreciate again, if the model is of any interest . Look at what happen to the 911's , even the models no one wanted in the 90's have now more then doubled in value .
This car is representative of it's time as it is the transition between RR management and the modern Continent GT's .
The other, very important fact , is that they built only 5 Le Man ! And this car is one of these 5 . I know nothing about older cars , specially Bentleys ..... that's why I am enquiring .
The price I would probably pay for this car is the price for a regular Continental T , the one produced at 322 pieces

That does sound interesting. I don't know anything about race spec Bentleys or how exactly their price behaves, but seeing as how there were only 5 of them ever (and I don't think there are many racing bentleys at all) I'd say this could end up being a good investment over time.
But don't take my word for it, do some more research and then make your decision.

I did not find very much . None for sale that is for sure . I did find out about regular continental T's . The market seems to be still a bit young for them, but special models, like a Mulliner do seem to raise some interest .

This has always been one of my "win the lotto fantasy cars" and I'd have to think if you hold on to it for a time it will appreciate. I just hope you own stock in a petrol company.

Don't know much about Bentley, but think the Continental T is über cool, very stylish compared to the newer versions. Having a special version of this for a good price sounds like a good buy, but probably not a good investment (like any car).
