Guess it's just me. I can't see anything but a Gallardo when I look at this car.
I disagree with you ...I see mostly Aventador
but just as every current Porsche including SUV and sedan has 911 jelly bean design DNA and every modern Ferrari has front engine 275GTB or mid engine P4 silhouette DNA.....every Lambo channels the Countach DNA of alien spacecraft with a ginormous trapezoidal windshield since first shown as a concept in 1971 , second pic with models now same age as some posters grandmothers , LOL.

BTW, sports car design was way more outragous for its time 45+ yrs ago than today...look at these examples which look modern today compared to sedans of the time . The Modulo from 1970 still looks more futuristic then any car since, even compared to a current BMW i8 , which is a " bad hair day " copy of it. More cars with your current grannies :

My dream High Performance Garage would consist of the Huracan, the California T and the GT3 (once fixed).
Don't wake me up, please
Ad a Cobra and 300SL from 1955 and together with those three and it would be a dream come true. I reeeeeeeally like the Huracan, and the Califórnia T was also a wonderful surprise design wise!! I will go to Geneve autoshow just to check these two beauties live, I'll try not to loose my mind while there

Interior has way too many buttons. I count no less than 35 buttons in that car! Loss of center console screen is a bad idea imo. Guess my passenger can no longer use the nav or adjust the radio. Seems to be the Audi/VW trend seeing that the new Audi TT is the same.
McLaren still has the best interior layout as of right now. Way better use of space.

Of all the interiors I have seen lately I like the 918's the most. The last Top Gear program showed it off nicely. A good indictor for future Porsches I hope!

Not sure if the price tag has already been posted but there is a rumor that the new Huracan will start around 201k EUR. This is only 4k EUR more than the 991 Turbo S base price. Ouch. So basically, they have the same price tag. This is going to be a problem for Porsche in certain markets.

I don't think the two cars are in the same segment. Huracan is in the exotic class whereas the Turbo is in the everyday/utility sports class. Actually, the 911 is in a class of its own.
You know that there is no one here who agrees more with you on this but this may be valid for Europe and some parts of the US/Canada (winter driving) but just imagine someone living around Monaco, Miami, Los Angeles, larger metropolitan areas and so on. The Huracan will surely be an alternative for them, maybe even more. My wife would kill me if I would drive a Huracan and the lease cost may also be higher than for a Porsche but overall, I think that Porsche got some serious competition here for a similar price. At least Porsche should offer 600 hp for the Turbo S but I guess this is something left for the facelift. Oh well...good for me...I leased the car.
