Any confirmed or rumored updates for 2015 model year? Only one I've heard of is a new multifunction steering wheel.

I heard a rumor about a possible power kit a while ago but this came from somebody close to Porsche Motorsport, not one of our usual sources, which is kind of weird. So I wouldn't trust this rumor too much but you never know. Smiley

A couple of new options may be available, like black LED front lights but otherwise, no major changes as far as I heard.

I'm afraid this is true. I would stick to the Akrapovic system, if they ever decide to put one on the market because I heard that Porsche tested such a system as a sport exhaust during development but they couldn't get the noise level right. At least, in case of a warranty dispute, this could be used to your benefit. Smiley

However, honestly...every 991 Turbo/S owner should wait with getting a sport exhaust before they actually drive the car for a couple of thousands of kms. I don't feel the urge at all to get a nice sport exhaust for my 991 Turbo S and just watch this video, this is what I got for my new family SUV (so yes, I love a nice sound).

Maybe third time trying to post will be a charm…Got a chance to drive a Turbo S while my car was in for a service. Dealership had a Turbo S & Bourbon tasting event the night before. Nice that my car’s service happened to line right up with it. Course I don’t really drink, so just there for the cars.

Had not noticed the slight difference in the nose of the Turbo S with it having the 'crease' lines inboard of the lights. Not as pronounced as the GT3, I think, but I liked them. The car is fast, ridiculously fast. RWS steering and the 991 chassis really make it a fun car to drive on twisty roads. It’s not a 2.7RS, but then I wouldn’t expect it to be. PDK and the ride seemed good, couldn’t really tell a difference between my car and the Turbo. If there is one, I didn’t notice on my short drive. It doesn’t sound the greatest, isn’t as exotic looking as a 458 or even 12C, but in my opinion it’s anything but boring. It’s just so fast.

My plan was to move on to a GT3 in a couple years. But now, as I mainly drive on the street, I’m not so sure. Told my sales guy I really need a drive in a GT3 to be positive. Course who knows when that’ll be…maybe after one I’ll understand some people not really liking the Turbo. Couple Iphone pics of the Turbo S and my car. Side profile shot was from inside my loaner Cayenne, hence the reflections.

Nissan got smarter though. The new GT-R Nismo with 600 hp is rumored to cost over 150k EUR in Germany (current GT-R Black Edition is 95k or so), so they surely caught up with the price tag. Let's see how they caught up with performance when the car is finally available.

Especially from a manufacturer who has huge billboards hanging around many international airports, claiming a 2.7 seconds 0-100 kph acceleration time for the current GT-R. Smiley Smiley

Let me put it this way: If the Nismo does 0-100 kph in 2.7 seconds and 0-200 kph in 9 seconds flat, I am pretty sure they will find customers for this car. Otherwise, I don't have a clue, it won't be easy though. The biggest advantage of the GT-R has been the bang for the buck point of value but at 150k EUR, things look different.
