Finally drilled the thing to pass on Scheuren Road up on the mountain - WENDY THINKS IT'S rocket fast! about to do first trip to S Diego, then up to Stanford parents weekend and will report. The bang and O is definitely better than the Burmeister in the 991s cab.
FOR ALL THE CRAP MERCEDES IS, I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THEM FOR CREATING THIS CAR

Why black carpets are best, by Storm Webb
Inside followup photo and caption: My daddy never worries about dirty dogs 'cause he's got black carpets, now that's thinking ahead
So we ran down to Ocean Beach in San Diego today. The boys enjoyed themselves especially Storm, Thank God he got to go once.
PLUSES
The wagon is very quick. but i feel the weight of course. S+ mode the only way to go.
Brakes outstanding as is handling.
the steering is massively stable and balanced with the 4wd, rock stable.
The stereo as previously mentiuoned in unf.g believably good
The car is hip here with many high signs and thumbs up given
The grey wheels are great because they hide dirt.
MINUSES
Running at 95, and drilling it, the mpg is much less than the 991, but lots more weight.
The seats look nice but hurt my butt in only 1.5 hours, the bottom or seat is poorly designed.
The gear shift thing is ridiculous - not just the dogs shifting into neutral, but having to go to D before you can engage R is stupid.
The nanny systems are asinine; there's a wiggle to the steering wheel to "wake you up", and a screaming tone when you drill by a car you are passing, and my passing differential speeds are large, very irritating.
You cant see the backup camera unless the stereo is on, pretty silly.
The seats have side bolsters that move in and out as you corner unless you turn it off and then the seat wont adjust.
NET: too much MB BS technology because we can
Sky and Storm set foot on dogs beach ocean beach for the first thrilling time!!!
BjoernB:
u should get sponsored by dog-shampoo and car cleaner products
My detail guys, for just a wash/vac charge $45 for the wagon and only $15 for the 991 s cab, but it dawned on me 3 dogs = 3 times the price of one dog
If anyone has driven the car, love to hear comments....
It was great during warranty, only rotors expensive consumable and my wife does not use them still bought multiple sets. Compared to 991 or 911 2-3k$ per year more.
the briar wood is gorgeous
cooling issues, repeated hose issues other reliability issues mostly covered by extended warranty.
if you're buying in warranty you'll be fine. Take one sitting at dealer....
Coupes much prettier but to each his own!
