    I have not tried yet but I think I can wear an helmet inside without any problem (it was not the case with the Gallardo!)

    Walter Röhrl is 1,96m and fits with a helmet, so you too will fit

    Is this a serious question ?

    Human height differs from one country to another, but 175 cm lies well in the middle of all averages (for males : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_height). I'm also 175 cm and I have a perfect view out of my GT3 which is equipped with the Clubsport package seats and they are not adjustable in height either. I suspect the 991 hasn't changed much in this aspect.

    Appreciate your initial impressions. Based on your report, it appears you are using the car with only half power. When do you plan to give the car a spirited workout?

    Don't be too sure.  It depends on your build.  I have very short legs and very long torso and I don't make it in the 991 (only 1.82m).  Walter has very long legs...

    @ Igirl : Thanks for the nice report . It will be interesting to have your comments once you will have a few thousands km on it, specially that you can compare it to the 458 . They are quite different cars, and details can not be compared, but the handling and efficiency would be nice to compare .

    @ Igirl. Thanks for the pics, looks fantastic, Its the same as mine, well almost. I chose the Adaptives Plus Seats, have the full carbon trim with the illuminated carbon sills and full leather with the white stitch. Have you spec the Privacy glass on the sides there..Cheers.

    Hang on the GT3 is back on as of 06/01/14, holy moly.

    I have the Club sports package with the Sports Bucket Seats.
    And I also have the Privacy glass option (Tinted glass for the rear side windows and rear window). I think that it is a great option since it is not too dark and it "hides" a little bit the roll cage.

    It can be done but Porsche doesn't give a certification for this install (as far as I remember), meaning that it is practically illegal. So if an accident happens and the insurance(s) get involved, you may be on your own. Careful. I don't know the laws in other countries but in Germany, every non certified modification actually voids the car certification. In the case of the kid seat it would probably only affect the kid seat but you always have to assume the worst and when insurances have to pay up, well... Smiley

    Yes, more or less the same here with non certified mods. Plus they throw you in jail Smiley

    If an official Porsche dealer installs a part from Tequipment and does not tell you or make you sign a paper that you undestand the install is not approved, then I fail to see how it can be the car owner's fault. But I will for sure ask for a paper that the mod is certified Smiley

    I had a GT3, drive a GT3 cup and my hight is 1'81. so come on of course you will see out. otherwise you put a coussin under your ......angry i'm teasing you. you will fit i the car don't worry

    According to SportAuto the 991GT3 is faster than the 991TTS around the Ring by two seconds and yet slower by a fraction of a second on the Hockenheim? How can this be?

    Different tracks have different focuses and can probably exploit the assets of each car better. NoS probably requires a more precise handling while Hockenheim plays to the TTS more brute force. 

    Just a guess.

    I thought that the horsepower advantage and higher top speed would benefit the Turbo on the NBR with its longer sections 

    OTOH a few seconds here and there are negligible especially when cars are tested on different days. Such tiny differences could be attributed to numerous exogenous factors.
