I know I may be biased (991 Turbo S and all...) but the more I look at Huracan photos, the more I get the feeling that this car is not right for me (too stylish). Never had that feeling with the Gallardo. Also, not a fan of the interior to be honest.
Like I said...I may be biased but I love the Aventador. Weird.

I absolutely like the design of this car, but like most flashy sportscars I would be embarrased to drive it around town here. That is why I like most Porsches so much. They are more below the radar, but still good enough to give the driver that special feeling.

I have always been a fan of Lamborghini and this is exactly what I expect from them . It must be a bit dramatic , and the Huracan is !
The problem is not that it isn't dramatic, something is just weird. I can't help it, I love the Aventador but the Huracan not so much. The more I look at it...

I enjoy seeing Lambos driven by other people, the Huracan will be no exception. Interior is very odd looking but that's not the focus of the car. Last Lambo I would be comfortable owning and driving was the 400GT circa 1968-69.

Will need to see it in the flesh. As of now, it's just to Gallardo-esque. Wanted to see something more unique.
You will not be disappointed. It looks great and has real presence. The interior whilst still not entirely good enough, is a big improvement on the launch Aventador which I tested (that was a disgrace for a car at that price point). I think this may be my first foray in to the world of the Raging Bull. Most interesting thing for me over the looks is the claim of 75% of torque being available from 1000 revs.

Huracan - Yes - I was at a private pre-launch viewing.
Aventador:
Likes - the appearance - looks jaw droppingly amazing in pretty much any colour.
Dislikes - outdated gear box and suspension, shocking interior quality, 4WD, and exhaust note certainly from the interior lacked drama . Net , net I plumped for the F12, which I have not regretted. Its hands down the best car I have owned. Having said all that. still tempted to get the big V12 Lambo itch out of my system at some point.
The AWD of the Aventador is a dislike? Do you really want to drive this car with RWD? I had a test run in this puppy and I barely could put the power on the ground...with AWD. The Aventador could actually use an improved AWD. I agree on the gearbox though, the gear changes in racing mode almost knocked my jaw out (and the car itself) but the chassis is quite soft for such a car but not really comfortable.
The Aventador is still my dream car. If Porsche would offer 700 hp and that exhaust sound in my 991 Turbo S, I would have nothing to complaint about. Speaking of the exhaust tone: I had the window cracked open most of the time and it was very nice.

My comment was in the context of the 2WD rival, and also I always seem to "feel" the car better with RWD as that's what I am more used to - 4WD always seems to give a heavier steering feel. I suspect I wasn't driving the Aventador anywhere as near as hard as you were

I'm not sure but if the next Aventador gets the "electric" steering, the steering feel can be fine-tuned and adapted to the developer's needs. Best example is the 991.
I tried to drive the Aventador hard but I was kind of afraid (I really had respect towards this car), so I wasn't as fast as I could have been. The test-drive was way too short but I loved this car.

What is outdated about the suspension? I think it uses pushrod actuated Ohlins shocks - nothing much better than that...

You are correct it uses pushrods. Again, my comment was in the context of the other option I was considering - the F12 which has magnetorheological dampers. Also the comment is in the context of largely road based used rather than track use.

I'll attend a private pre-launch viewing tonight. Looking forward to see this baby in the flesh. I find the more and more complex design of modern sportscars is hard to catch on photos
