clear lights only work on cars in darker colours IMO.
trouble is, they then clash badly with the red reflectors ..
I actually disagree here. The clear lights are clear, not dark, so they really don't fit darker cars. You need to see it live.
I saw it live on a white 991 GT3 last Saturday .. looks tacky IMO

Of course this is a matter of personal taste, but I think the clear taillights are very, very ugly.... I also don't like them on Aston Martins BTW... Taillights should be red.... Period.
I actually like them black or blackened but for legal reasons, this isn't possible for the 991 tail lights.
Still...the clear ones look great on a white car, I can't help it. Add blackened front lights...wow.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and different tastes are a good thing... It would be a boring world if everyone liked the same things
Those new taillights for the 981 are pretty nice I think. Haven't seen them in person yet, but they seem to look good. It's a kind of combination of grey in the middle and red on the outside.

Get rid on the fugly backup sensors (can't people learn to park?) and the red reflectors, then the white taillights MIGHT look okay - with the red reflectors it has some type of albino look, can't put my finger on it.
Okay - cut off my head and look for the chip - did I just make a post on the color of anything? Mostly a rant about parking sensors and people not able to park (or use turn signals correctly). Right??
PS - the black GT3 with PCCB was awesome!

Some of us live in very physically restrictive cities. Vinci car parks in the UK are made for 1959 mini (even new builds today) so I'd rather have parking sensor than scuffed bumper. At least they've moved on from the early 996 offerings!!

White tail lights on a white car...beautiful.
As you can see, they are really white and not dark grey. They wouldn't look good on a dark colored car.
Looks like a storm trooper. And not in a good way. Not my cup of tea, but I can understand why some may like it.

I don't like them at all. They give the car a kind of "albino" look.
