Looks superb in white ! and your interior with the leather looks amazing. Also very nice driveway.

I love this part most. Smiley

Truly best daily driver when fun, performance and any weather capability is needed in just one complete package.

    I see no need for the F12 anymore,cancelled the order,my 458 was the last Ferrari I owned,seems likely.....Picture%20023.jpgPicture%20024.jpgPicture%20025.jpgPicture%20026.jpg

I just love your car, very nice combo, I almost went for exactly the same but decided against white because I somehow thought I need a different color than my wife's car. Smiley What a mistake, white is amazing. Congratulations, you made a perfect choice! Smiley Smiley

Re: 991 Turbo S - Short Driving Report (owner)

    Thanks to all!

Color choice credit goes to my wife, she forced me to go that way,I am more conservative and wanted Black/Black (like my 458).

Very happy with alcantara wheel, feels really good in both warm and cool weather, deviated stitching was not ordered by me as it was not available at the time of ordering,I guess it is part of the Red/Black package.

The detector is the new Escort Max with better filtration for false alarms, range and capability to participate in "Escort Live" where the detector communicates with other escort detectors on the road and notifies my iphone with alerts about police presence in the direction my GPS shows my car is going.

It knows all locations of red light and speed cameras too, more sensitive and accurate then any detector I have ever used.

So far it is legal in Illinois.....

    atached are some more details:Picture%20030.jpgPicture%20031.jpgPicture%20032.jpgPicture%20033.jpgPicture%20034.jpgPicture%20035.jpgPicture%20036.jpgPicture%20037.jpgPicture%20038.jpg

Re: 991 Turbo S - Short Driving Report (owner)

Congrats on new beast  Its noticeable that you spent some time picking cool stuff to make interior more luxurious and sporty. IMO at least steering wheel in alcantara should be standard in Turbo S. It looks so damn special & its much more useful in high performance car. There is no need to save that feature for RS models, since Turbo S is so highly (over)priced. Shame on you Porsche smiley

Indeed congratulations! My TurboS is also in white but with an espresso interior and brown convertible top. The wait is very painful!

Just picked up this GT Silver Metallic Gray yesterday. It is simply an impressive car: glued to the road, incredible feel and engagement and I quite enjoy the exhaust. Could be a tad bassy and a little subdued but a vast improvement over my 997.

I say Smiley and my compliments for your good taste in choosing GT silver.

Just order clear side indicators asap.

Amazing pic and amazing car! Can imagine that the drive is even better :)

But RC, you MUST lower the PORSCHE lettering, does not look good as is and looks kinda aftermarket.

The rear is too wide and looks too empty without it. The "911" badge alone doesn't look good (I've seen another Turbo S with it). You need to see it on the car live to appreciate it.

Love the way you are using your car...

I had my Cayenne TTS lettering removed at factory, and wish I hadn't.  Agree with RC that on particular cars the rear can look too blank with no lettering.

Of course I am using my car. I actually met with my wife and one of her girlfriends in Austria (first day of the skiing season start on the Zugspitze). My son wanted to have some driving fun in the Turbo S and I wanted to have some snow experience (did lots of donuts and other crap in the snow but my son hates holding the camera, so... Smiley) with the car. We had lunch in Austria and my wife's friend asked how much my car costs (oh well...don't I always expect this question at some point Smiley). After I told her, she looked at me pretty surprised and the second thing she asked was if I'm not afraid to drive my car in the snow. Smiley Where can I drive it in winter time? In the garage? Smiley She didn't get it and I start to think that my wife should choose her friends more wisely. Smiley

Love the pictures of my Austrian Alps!  Makes me so homesick!  I feel like Heidi missing the mountains here in Kansas!

It does remind me of the last time I took my 996 skiiing in Colorado.  I used summer tires, lol, and the day after I left the area I was in got 10 FEET of snow.   My friends house where I stayed had snow up to the second story windows which he used to get outside. The little town was buried for more than a week - NO TRAFFIC was able to pass, not even the snow plows, which is very unusual for Colorado because they are very good at clearing snow generally.  Just never know about the weather in the mountains.

    Well,

do you seriously expect the majority of women to understand your excitement for sportscars? I guess Suzy on this forum and a few others are the lucky exceptions... Smiley

Re: 991 Turbo S - Short Driving Report (owner)

My wife actually understands (at least she says so) but I get the feeling that she does nothing to explain my passion for sports cars to her friends. yes Yes, I know they discuss my cars (her friends usually know details...) but it seems that don't really care (or believe her).

RC, what winter tires are you using?

Re: 991 Turbo S - Short Driving Report (owner)

I've got to tell you the worst advice I received was to NOT option the Bermester sound system. All reading this add this option to your configurations.
