Whoopsy, I am getting white. The Rhodium is a great color but I still believe white is the best for the GT3. My first TT Cab (I believe in 2004) was very similar to Rhodium.

macca993:RC. Just love the interior colour combo. The red "pops" but there isnt too much of it and you did the right thing with the dash. Is that Agate Grey exterior? I guess you have plenty of practice at ordering these cars with your own options and experience must help...

Yes, the Agate grey exterior and the black/Carrera red bi-color interior seem to be a perfect match, I am surprised myself and even more surprised how many people seem to like this combo.
My dealer has a serious issue now because of that: A C4S Cab customer wants the very same interior on his Cab (exterior color...guess what...agate grey). Unfortunately this bi-color combo is reserved for the 991 Turbo S in the 911 family, so now they are exploring a way to make it happen through Exclusive department. Unfortunately it doesn't look good right now.

I was under the impression that Porsche was reserving that Black/Red color combo for the 911 Turbo S only. Causes customers to switch from the 911 turbo into buying the turbo s.
I must admit that interior color combo on your car is gorgeous. I wouldn't mine getting that on a GT3, but I don't think the exclusive department would let me?
yesterday i test-drove the GT3, under rather cold road conditions in germany. there is not much that i have to add (i concur with the report of TomTomGTA) except this: i cannot help but compare with the F458 and my initial impression is that the ferrari is a more forgiving daily driver with a wider range of settings of the electronics but the GR3 feels slightly more racy at the top end. the fezza is more refined (i still prefer the ferrari's double clutch transmission but it is a close call) and the GT3 is wonderfully wild. ideally, one needs both..... :::)))) great car, the wait is worth while for you guys and an the GT3 is an absolute bargain.

Hi Nick,
I had put down my first deposit on August 21st and was waiting for the 2nd call to finalise my spec which would have put me at the stage of a definite allocation. However, Sunday I phoned my dealership to find out how the allocations were going having heard that the GT3 had been deposited very heavily by potential buyers. Today I found out that I was one of the unlucky ones without a allocation and that they have put me on the cancellation list, to which I am next in line if a cancellation occurs, which in all probability won't happen. When I put the deposit down I was told I would be looking at (around) a May delivery, so still sounds all a bit strange to me. Gutted to say the least but what can I do.

I am sorry to hear this bad news . It sounds to me that your dealer did give your allocation to another customer that must of been more insisting then you . I would get back to him and push him hard to find a solution

I have. Phoned Porsche Cardiff and I was told they stopped taking deposits in March due to high volume interest. Porsche Chester have informed there unlucky depositors last week but they still put me on a cancellation list making me 4th on it..I am happy with the dealership I'm with and you never know, someone might pull out of there allocation.
Its been a learning curve buying a Porsche GT.

So far I don't know if it was possible (haven't talked to my dealer about it anymore) but your dealer can find out pretty fast by making a request to Exclusive department. You need to be aware though that such a "special order" would take a lot of time, usually 6-12 months more (added to your "normal" estimated delivery date) and it may also cost a lot.

I don't know, I'm having the oposite reaction the more I see them, they should be darker in my opinion, they look kind of aftermarket to me, and the red rear deflectors should match, they look horrible in red with the clear rear lights. Not that a yellow licence plate is very flatering either

Agree, I don´t like the aftermarket look of those lights too and without the rear wing it would look the perfect 911.

I'm usually not a fan of the clear tail lights either, but when I saw them on a black 991 that parked next to me I had to admit they looked quite good.
Keeping my fingers crossed for your RS. Are you going for a PTS color?

No, PTS adds 6 to 9 month of waiting time . That's way too long to still consider it . I am eager to see what colors will be offered on the RS . I have no clue as of now, what I would choose . I have changed my mined quite a few times already , from you type of grey to some shade of blue , even red , white ….
