    Porsche 991 2S configuration and some questions

    Hello all.

    I am thinking about this configuration for my new Porsche 991:

    - Carrera 2S, Basalt Black with Sport Techno wheels and TPM

    - Sport Seats Plus 4 ways with full black leather interior

    - Sport design exterior mirrors, rear spoiler painted, automatic dimming mirrors and rain sensor, park assist front and rear, PDLS

    - PDK, sport chrono package and sport exhaust

    - Interior light design package, sport design steering wheel, porsche crest in the seats

    - Maybe leather sport seat backs

    - Aluminium PDK selector

    - Bose sound system

    What do you think about the back leather sport seat plus?

    I think PCM is a very expensive option. If I select BOSE sound system but not PCM will I be able to have the full surround sound experience without having PCM?

    do you have a 911-50 package available?

    In the UK, with 911-50 package (for less than or aboutthe same as the priceof  Sport Chrono Package), you get SCP, heated seats, front and rear park assist and telephone module.

    forget leather backed seats and get the oem nav PCM package.

    the new 14 way sport seats are now pretty good. on the old cars these were useless imo  but i had them on my 991 and much snugger. they come with a faux leather back so you get 2 birds with 1 stone.

    Thank you for your replies.

    Do you think the PCM is worth the price? If I just choose the bose sound will I be able to have all the same surround sound as with the PCM or are there any differences? I dont need navigation GPS in this car.

    What are the pros and cons of the PCM? I am really confused about this.

    CPA4S, I really prefer the seating in the sport plus seats better than in the standard sport seats. But maybe the back leather is not needed. I am just affraid of that grey plastic looking in the back of the seats, wouldn´t it be better looking in leather?

    Not sure about Portugal but in Germany, if you want to be able to sell your car again, it needs PCM. Not that it really matters after a couple of years of ownership but within the first two to three years, PCM is quite important. Otherwise take CDR Plus instead, it saves half the money and you won't miss much.

    PCM standard on 991s in the UK.

    What is the difference from standard radio to CDR plus? What are the new features?

    Why Porsche makes you spend more money in a radio? You already pay for the BOSE speakers!!

    You need nav for resale, i learned the hard way as i dont need it either.  Also, if you like your music loud and perfect, get the Burmeister

    The problem of not having the PCM or CDR Plus is the lack of USB and A2DP Bluetooth. Basically, if you want to listen to music from your phone, you must go the expensive route.

    Can we have this on the other carreras?

    They are not painted plastic. They are covered in leather as standard. On the Carrera you can opt for XWK, but than the back will be covered in matching colored leather. (Together with some other parts of the seat)

    Not only that...

    you get: the coathook covered in leather instead of plastic, baseplate backrest release covered in leather (your picture), plating trim covered in leather and the seat console covered in leather (where the seat adjustments are).

    There is an dealer-option (don't know the option number) to get the backrest in a deviated color and it will cost you about $90 extra.

    Thank for your replies.

    Does anyone know the angle of slope of the 991 Carrera S / 4S? The entry of my garage as a steep descent and my BMW 3 kit M coupe almost touch the front bumper when descending.
