RC:
Stefan, I get your point but you don't seem to get mine. Lesson learned.
Basically: If you loose your key and someone is using that key to enter your house, it would be OK for others to use the same key to do the same? Do I understand you correctly?! Sorry, not my mentality.
Christian, I get your point very well. You made a promise, you'll keep your promise, that's the way it should be and I would do the same anytime!
But, if I read what you write after "Basically", I think you don't understand me at all.
Your comparison with a lost key is wide of the mark. Nobody lost something here, what has been done, has been done on purpose.
Driving a Carrera GT is basically the same as driving a Ferrari or a Lamborghini or any other exotic: you will get attention, wherever you will drive, whether you like it or not. People who buy such cars are normally very well aware of that, at least they are used to it. Maybe some or maybe even the majority of them want exactly that: attention. At least if I showcase my car on a sunny Sunday afternoon in a public place as in the pic above, I want to attract attention. I want to show (off to) the crowd with their smartphones, I want to show (off) what I got.
Otherwise you would choose a non public area or you choose a different car or you won't participate at such events. So I don't get the point about privacy here. If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
