when they must cut the foil on the body of the car,the cutter near the paint...ouch...if they scratch the paint...naaa,on a new car i can't think to put foil on it. enlightened

Pete. I was hoping you say that. Infact we can swap cars most the time as I will be driving a long time in the GT3 in Europ. Mine will be RHD but I know you are used to that. Im a big fan of the 458 as you know and Ive never driven anything newer than 355, but Im very sure Ill love it. Its above my pay grade so no risk of me taking it home!

RC. Just love the interior colour combo. The red "pops" but there isnt too much of it and you did the right thing with the dash. Is that Agate Grey exterior? I guess you have plenty of practice at ordering these cars with your own options and experience must help...

Thank you. Smiley Yes, the Agate grey exterior and the black/Carrera red bi-color interior seem to be a perfect match, I am surprised myself and even more surprised how many people seem to like this combo.
My dealer has a serious issue now because of that: A C4S Cab customer wants the very same interior on his Cab (exterior color...guess what...agate grey). Unfortunately this bi-color combo is reserved for the 991 Turbo S in the 911 family, so now they are exploring a way to make it happen through Exclusive department. Unfortunately it doesn't look good right now.

We are talking about cars and mountains? Here is my old red one. The car was covered with an epic amount of dirt, but looked still good. The beauty of red Porsches. I will miss that. Photo was taken in the Austrian Alps above Kitzbühel.

That Fiat 348 does look very pretty. A miricle of packaging just like the air cooled 911. Shame its not particularly reliable..

Tom. The picture of your red 991 is just spectacular.

I think youll find the GT3 will be a good step up. Save the turbo for alter - as you say they will all be turbos very shortly including boxster/cayman!

Don't know if the GT3 delay is causing the overload stock of the bucket seats..... since Turbo S just opens up new option list of Bucket Seats since begging of this week..... I didn't expect this will be an option for Turbo S till next year.... Suppose in some ways its good for Tubro S owners....

I actually posted a short owner report (there is a sticky thread) with some photos. It will be updated soon since I noticed a couple of things I wasn't aware of in the beginning, enthusiasm and all. Smiley

I love the 991 Turbo S though, there are only some minor things which bother me.

in the pff forum they are already talking about GT3 deliveries not earlier than january, maybe not before march 2014. i have no idea of how serious/realistic this is, maybe someone (who has ordered a GT3) can verify. i put down summer 2015 delivery for my GT3 RS and hope that this will be realistic at least.

i keep my fingers crossed for those who have a GT3 on order.

But deliveries before christmas are getting unterealistc anyway..unless they release the cars in the next days I would say...or?
