Boyko23:
RC,
did you had the chance to drive the 918, during your "weekend" in Italy?
I wasn't in Italy, only a couple of friends.
I also haven't driven the 918 yet, I have just driven in it.
With some luck, maybe next spring...

How many 918's have been sold? I just read a little over 200 but that cannot be right. Anyone know?
450 I heard a short while ago but I don't have any official figures.

In the interview before IAA, Hatz(?) said that half of the projected production was sold. He didn't define what he meant by "sold".
He expected more sales after the car was presented and driven by prospective buyers. He subsequently, stated with optimism that even he personally sold 2 more cars on the first day of the IAA.
Anyway, there is no deadline for selling the 918 examples,so there is still plenty of time.

Waiting time, if you order now, is mid of next year anyway, so I don't think they are in a hurry to get more orders right now.

The car does look great with that livery. But isn't it way too "Look at me!" ?
Yes, indeed. The Martini foliage looks a bit too much. I saw this live and I think a simple color looks better.
