The organizers should have stopped the "race" during rainfall.
Look how much water lies on the ground, absolutely irresponsible to run a "drag race" under these conditions.
The hit was pretty hard, I hope she is alright (she seemed alright but impacts like that tend to have consequences, even after a couple of hours or even days).

What kind of organization is that? Not even having a helmet on - insane! The beam barriers are not on the whole track, they are starting a while later and exactly there she crashed into (she couldnt have had the impact on a more stupid place).
And as you say - on those road conditions you should not make such races. Probably hear tires have been wear out, too?

Totally agree.
Like Lars said, the safety barriers are not even on the whole track. The point where she goes off, could have ended in a real disaster. We know what happened to Robert Kubica on his Rally adventure and he was pretty lucky that the safety barrier didn't hit him.
But even then... If people take part in a dragrace in those conditions, they're just stupid. And if something happens, it's not only the responsibillity of the organizers (if there are organizers), but also the responsibillity of the drivers themselves.
In other words... I have not a tiny bit of compassion.
I'm just another female petrolhead :)

Its russian sh*tty "competition"... These guys abuse all governmental laws, especially running 300+ kph on public roads, sh*tting on safety of people around them. So, I am not worry about these "people"...
Isn't that a closed road and the event is legal?
If you are referring to everything else going on on public roads in Russia, well...different story.
