Great pics Watt, thanks for sharing. Was that duct tape on the back of the seat?
Yes Joe - two mods required
1- i duct taped a large paper clip around the hanger hook for jackets on the seat back, so when i carry a blazer on a hanger in a hanger bag it's wired in and doesn't fall on the floor. the seat hook is a design flaw for normal people.... if you click on the photo to enlarge you can see the paperclip.
2- i duct tape a plastic food container top over the console buttons to keep Sun from switching all the switches. He still turns the traction control off through the plastic. A design flaw only for dog people..... This center console is one facet of pane turbo s design that is very unpalatable to me -- if you imagine 2 or 3 Yellow Labs standing on the switches while driving, so they can see out the windshield, everything going haywire

If Porsche would respond to my wish list, i would ask for a larger gas tank to give more range. Those hooks should have a clasp that locks closed around your jacket hanger. A. Factory cover for the switch deck would be nice.
the sport exhaust should be standard, a sports car should not charge extra for a sport exhaust!!!!
bring the bucket seats (like gt3 seats) back to usa. Improve the fan power of the seat ventilators in the regular sport seats.
they did fix from the 997 the ability to lock the car while running which i asked for and i appreciate that, and the ability to switch the suspension to normal while in sport plus which i dont recall in 997s
after much thought and reviewing rennteams analysis on the new turbo s, I am not ordering one.
- i hate the weight, hated it in my 997 turbo s, at least my 991. S is near 3000pounds
- the car is not fast enough for $200 k for a cab. I might as well get a used mcclaren or another scuderia. Maybe ill change my mind for my new zealand car when the bucket seats arrive.
one other massive improvement I forgot to mention --- 991's are RAT PROOF!!!!!
this may seem irrelevant to those in cold climates -- but with 997s and before I spent 3-6kUS$ per year on rat repairs; they'd eat the wiring harness, brake wire, etc. with 991, no problem. Only the Jaguar XKR is rat free besides 991. Thank you Porsche!!!!:)
We're jumping for JOY

Sorry guys, but I love my cars more than my clothes or anything else ... It would be impossible for me to treat my cars like that.
That poor 991's interior.
I've known guys with garage queens, but you're the first closet queen!!! While you're sitting home naked to avoid wear and tear on your clothes and your car, we're out having fun. My interior looks brand new as it's detailed regularly. Of course my clothes are shorts and hiking shoes unless i go to the office.
i'll see if we have any anal approved 991 uses around here
like these bastards getting dog hair all over the cayenne loaner. It does vac right out, my detail team does it every week in all our cars. And Beverly Hills porsche just does the same with our loaners. It is the best dealership I have ever experienced.
cool newbie, spend some time on this site until you know what tongue in cheek means. then add value
