My government already has it RC, and they have yours, your address your childrens names, your credit card charges and those juicy facts on all of our friends here and everywhere on the web.

I do not worry about the government... 
Yes, the cars on the Singen Autosalon are LHD but they have a huge customer base and sometimes they can "find" a car you need. Did the English version of the site not work?

I am kind of surprised that we didn't start a PRISM discussion on Rennteam. Maybe because we all are intelligent and tech-savy adults and nobody is really surprised?!

The NSA has nothing to do with the Stasi, I also hate to hear those Nazi comments made in some newspapers. 
Intelligence agencies need to work in secret and they need to adapt to new technologies, like the internet. In the past, they listened in to phone calls, opened mail (well, they still do that), etc., now they do it the electronic way and they spread their reach. I do not say everything they do and did is right but the Stasi used that information to arrest dissidents and political enemies, they also used that information to suppress their own population. I don't see that happen in the US or in Europe, so we should be very careful with these comparisons.
Now back to topic, we can continue a PRISM discussion in the PRISM humor thread (Off-Topic section) if someone is interested.

No pun intended but all it's requires is intelligence to realise all communications can be monitored. Those of us who work in technology and also intelligence agencies know this has been possible since the dawn of the Internet, and before that with other communications.
Trying to explain the risks of the Internet to someone who thinks it is ok to send their bank details over Whatsapp is another matter though!

theres one scud for sale in nz for $340 k nzd, which about matches importing from the uk. Ouch
paying $180 us for that verdi strad which looks great, means landed in nz about $275 nz... Ouch
thats southern cross pricing, only surpassed by australia.... Ouch

btw, there are cops and cameras everywhere in OZ and i think NZ too....u have to know where to go in order to stretch your car....personally i think it's getting more and more pointless to buy a fast car in Australia.
True in OZ re speed cameras, but a bit less in NZ from what I saw in November driving around for a month and a half... but mainly NZ seems to have a lot more roads that are so narrow and twisty, that 80 km/hr is white-knuckle stuff, and for many the speed limit of 100 km/h would actually be very hard to safely reach. You don't need big HP for roads like that, just handling. Australia has far fewer roads like those... lots of big flat stretches with open turns (I have spent time in all states except Tassie) . Very different geology / geography... but back OT for Watt - good luck finding your Strad (but maybe a well-sorted 328 could be as much fun ).
