Here's a video of it driving away, close up. Looks very exotic. You can see the wing tick up as they pull away.

Re your other post - I thought your plan was only to buy used, once we fools had eaten the depreciation for you?

Normally it is, but Donald Trump won the election and I'd be lying if I said that didn't work out fantastic for me.
I'll still probably buy used though. I realistically can't buy a car for another year or so due to not knowing which side of the ocean I'll be living on, and there should be some available by then that will be too good to pass up.
SciFrog:That's the rub. Who didn't it work for except Soros.

Just heard something somewhat concerning. People have been saying that the C-pillars on the 720S are glass, which I didn't understand.
Someone has said the roof and pillars are all glass and that the interior is either visible carbon or covered in leather and alcantara.
This is a big WTF for me. I do not like two-tone cars at all and I'll be pretty pissed if the green house is in fact all glass and therefor can't be painted like a traditional car.

It is not all glass. The glass is held in some pretty chunky black frames which stops it being a "bubble". I can't recall for sure whether it was painted in that area though - I think not.
noone1:So is it correct in saying one won't be able to have the area surrounded in red painted body color? I don't see how this area could be painted if the c-pillars were glass.
Yep - though I can't swear to it. We will have to wait till Geneva. I am not going for the launch editions. Will spec my own for later in the year.

You could always wrap it haha
Something tells me that finding a thin piece of plastic of the same caliber as McLaren paint isn't going to be possible.
I think Nick meant to wrap the whole car...
Listen, I'm not a particular fan of the R8 design, too much Audi front and rear and a bit too boring for a supersportscar, as weird as this may sound. What is good for social acceptance isn't necessarily good for my acceptance on the design, even if I know people who even prefer the R8 design over the Huracan (I love the Huracan design). Do I care? Not really. I care about the tech under the hood and the emotional part driving this car.

This person was probably speaking about this first image that had leaked some weeks ago (was posted here as well). Indeed, on this one picture the roof looked like made of glas. I like the the more recent pictures above much better though, I have to say
The 2nd generation #McLaren Super Series – stats that will blow your mind. 0-124mph in 7.8 sec and back to a standstill in 4.6 sec.
Don't know how that compares to other cars. Don't know any 200 - 0 times off hand. Braking distance for that is apparently 117 m. New lighter rotors and calipers. I've heard they look quite different and look smaller. New Corsas have 6% better mechanical grip.
They've got the rim design right this time.
And 19" wheels, I appreciate such a step when everybody seems to go 20", 21", 22" and so on.
