SO GLAD I found this website/forum
Hi guys,
I started to read the forum a few weeks ago so I think it is time now to introduce myself. I live in Paris area and as lots of us I am a Petrolhead. Since 6 years, my baby is a 964 C2 from Sept. '93, she is polar grey with blue leather and has full history. She started her life in Turin and since I bought it in 2007, we drove a bit more than 50,000 km :-)
Now she is back with original orange OEM parts for the turn signals :-)
More than every thing, I like car racing (unfortunately not my self except time to time with few friends during club track days) and mostly endurance races: classic cars, VdeV, ELMS, ALMS...
Well what else? I am a big fan of Porsche and guess what especially the racing ones starting with the 904gts... my favorite one is the 2.5 ST... but I am afraid it gonna stay a dream...
I am lucky enough to have a very good friend of mine whose job is involved with... car racing and especially Porsches ! His shop is litteraly next door and gosh... it is more like a small Porsche museum.
As said, very glad I found the forum, very impressed by all of you knowledge and passion. The level of accuracy of the information exchanged is very impressive!

Those who haven't a sports car are usually very knowledgable based on their job and/or background, so this is very helpful too. It is also interesting to learn about the opinion of those who actually aren't directly involved with certain products and/or reading the thoughts of one brand owner about the other brand.
your 964 is magnificent, and with your love of Porsche you'll fit in here just fine. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.
