I fully agree. Right now I am considering two options: Getting the GT3 or the 991 Turbo S.

The GT3 would be more fun to drive but the Turbo S would annihilate almost every car and probably every motorcycle too Smiley on the street. Tough choice. Gladly, I have at least 6 months to decide which way I go. Smiley

Turbo S knows only few cars in the world which are faster from 0-100 km/h.

Bugatti Veyron is one of it :) - the rest I don´t know

GT3 is more fun - if you don´t drive it on daily basis I would buy a GT3. You get much more for the money. A friend of mine had a chance to drive the new GT3 - he said he was surprised on the comfort you have. Like Ferrari 458 italia. He drove only 15 minutes on a public road, so no other conclusion.

After the 997TT experience (and its bad setup) I would even wait for a test drive before taking the final decision Smiley I am confident though that the 991TT will have a more competitive setup than its predecessor.

The alleged comfort of the GT3 while being a fun car to drive was why I decided to buy one. Also, it's styling clearly differentiates it from all other 911's. The price of the car makes it very attractive. Smiley

When you consider what you are getting, I cannot thing of another car on the market that even comes close. Smiley

I finally understand the new side inlet shape! Im typing on a tablet now, so cant photoshop, but the outline looks more like a [ than a (, if you catch my drift... Hopefull tomorrow i have access to a pc to explain it. Thanks for the pics!

+1 they messed it up again. Last Turbo I liked was the 993.

I cannot see the basis of the negative critique of the new styling, as it follows the 996 and 997 Turbo theme but more refreshed yes

Unless someone didn't like the previous models too.

The new turbo is good evolution of 997.2. Will turbo s differentiate from turbo in external look?

Some Turbo test cars have the GT3 door mirrors, some like the above do not. Perhaps, that's one of the different features.

The intake will be oval, similar to 981.

I like the new shape louvres on the engine lid.

The 991 GT3 is not as good looking as the 997 (1 and 2) GT3. But the new Turbo (judging from the pictures) will be an improvement on the 997 Turbo.

Still, the best looking 911 is the plain, pure and unadorned Carrera, (no wings, protrusions and orifices) like in all previous 911 Generations.
