what is wrong with this? I think it is great. This is a car forum right.
Well,
I appreciate any effort to contribute on this forum but why does someone
a. copy videos that are very, very certainly not his own,
b. post a link on Rennteam to visit his website and
c. present that content in an unconventional format and video player instead of using youtube... which... obviously provides the original videos already
Apart from all that, how do I know that he does not link me to a site with malicious content? And I would feel different if he would, apart from posting those links, be a contributing member of this forum. So what reason does someone have to appear in such a manner other than attract attention for his own website?
Just to add... He is not the only one-we have a member who is ONLY posting the quotes from other articles and then links to that same articles . I never got a chance to read any post from him with his own words or opinion.
When one member here expressed his opinion against such a posts he(our quoter, because he is IMHO only a quoter) got nice defense from some frequent members here...

Whoopsy:
216 posts on this forum, about 612 of those are single post on a video link to his site. He doesn't really contribute anything to this forum. More like promoting his OWN site. Need to say more?
One of our esteemed RT moderators issued a "final warning" a month or so ago, so expect it's just a matter of time before this account is "cleaned up" -- one way or another...

Kreso,
if you are referring to Boxster GTS, who commented after you, the difference lies in that he does not link to his own site (and using some shady Flash-based media player) but rather embeds articles and videos from external sites that are much easier to experience that way. The link to the original site is most certainly for refernce purposes and less so for his own benefit.
Huge difference in my opinion.

My apology. I did not know.

Ferdie,
It is some difference, just... 99% of his posts are links to the articles from other web sites and embed videos. Also, he posts the same links to several threads. Tell me what is the point to quote the complete article with pics from that article and then post a link to that same article

If you quote an article that is written by 3rd party person/resource it is better to show the source because article is a subject of ownership.
