So if you permanetly disconnect the vacuum hose / connector on the exhaust I guess you always benefit from the 35Nm torque, as well as the increase in noise levels? If so that sounds like a win-win to me!

The exhaust flaps can be adjusted by pressing the button. When the engine is started, the exhaust is in the "going to theatre"-mode, but after the press on the button, the obstacles are removed, the engine makes the noise the GT3 has to make and the torque is increased up to 35 Nm / 26 lb-ft in the 3000-4000 rpm range.
