To be honest it is transformed but can't say it is about the engine. I have lots of improvement made, starting with the chassis, pads, exhaust. One thing for sure it was not as good as before, this is really a sharp one. The test will be at the track where I had a reference time. otherwise I am still under 7000rpm for another 300km, I love back road to go and back from the office. This AIM is so great with the Solo DL and Smarty Cam. Mecca it is with the OBD2 in case.

My GT3 is now a October delivery, at least that insures me a MY15 model. However, I miss the damn summer.
Also, some are reporting price increases, not sure if its on the list or on the options..

Totally agree. So glad I stuck with the white.
Mines due in October now due to the stop sale. At least its a MY15 model, however, no summer driving for me.

What colour is yours?
I mean interior. The one I saw had the plastic dash buckets and rear cage and it looked very purposeful.

Its white, regions. Platinum interior stitching with the white clocks. Want to keep it very GT3ish. Having said that, no bucket seats for me, gone for the full 18 way adaptive seats.

I wonder what happen to Phil and Igirl. They received their engine replacements a couple of weeks ago and we have not heard from them. Hopefully, the engine replacement was worth the wait for them.
Phil will be at a track event next week . I'll also be there .

Still waiting for my car, deposit down since Jan so I suppose I could get a 991.2 GT3 next year?
a Gt3.2 next year is unlikely . Way too early .
The 991 will be half way through it's 6 yr life cycle later this year so next year .2
For the Carrera , yes, but the GT3 is always at least 18 month later

For the Carrera definately next year (came out second half of 2011)... my guess is the 991.2 Carrera should hit the assmebly line in zuffenhousen around summer

Is there anybody who has the idea, like me, that the after installation of the new engine the settings of the exhaust are changed too? I have the impression that it makes less noise.
Before it really "popped open" at 4000rpm, now it's starts to make a little more noise at around 3700rpm and increasing upwards but to me it sounds a little less loud then before.
Any thoughts?
