i am in the market for a used 599 gtb and would like to know the total production numbers of the model. Would be great, if somebody has some insight.
Reason is, that i would like to try a more educated guess concerning residuals. I have a variety of cars offered at approx. 100k€ from dealers. I would like to keep the car for 3-5 years.
Any opinions?

I don't think these cars will fall below 60k.
I don't think Ferrari has a bottom in depreciation - who will buy a 599 in 3-5 years with +50k km or even more on it ? I believe high milage Ferraris are a problem if you wanna resell....eighter you keep them for a very long time or u can handle a huge drop in price again .....there are other cars out there where higher milage is much more accepted if you wanna sell again. just my 2 cents.

The 599 is great value right now - go for it - most of the depreciation curve is well slid down already.

Or even better if you're a romantic like me, I bought a 550 Maranello last year for 50,000 euros with 20,000 km, best deal ever!

The 550 is also on my list, as a more "reasonable" choice. Had a testdrive in one and was absolutely charmed by it. Liked it very much and it was much faster, than i expected. Should be on par with a 996turbo straightline. Design is quite "shy" compared to the 599.
But the 599 is a different beast performancewise. It is very fast! And i absolutely adore the design ... GT at its best, especially in grigio silverstone. It is hard not to pull the trigger.
Also had a Aston V8 Vantage and a Porsche 991s with PDCC and -20mm PASM on my list. But with the Aston i don't trust the mechanical side ... and the Porsche is a very good and reliable car, but the watercooled Porsches just don't touch me emotionally any more.
