Porsche made great interiors in latest cars, starting with Panamera. But I also like interiors in latest 5, 6 and 7 series a lot. The only compaint in 5 series (F10) are cup holders, because climate control is lower than in 7 series and already 0.5l bottle covers buttons on climate control. Audi got nice interiors too and IMO they are on par with BMW (people choose between them on personal preferences), but Mercedes lags behind.

M4 AWD 4-door coupe. Am I dreaming?
If it is a 4-door, then it is an M3, not M4
Nope, read the articles, all of them are saying that a 4 door version of 4 series is coming. What I am dreaming about is AWD on the M version and that M version will have 4 doors...

There will be 4 door coupe based on the 4 series. So 3 series = 4 door saloon with 5 seats and 4 series = 4 door coupe with 4 seats. Similar to 5 series saloon and 6 series 4 door GranCoupe

"Form follows function"
That sounds ridiculous and completely contradicts BMW's stated reasons for separately badging a 3- and 4-series. In fact, the entire concept of a "4-door coupe" is, by definition, a contradiction in terms and a sad example of how manufacturers (not just BMW) have perverted the language in their attempts to fill every conceivable gap, real or imagined.

I like the 4 series concept if the production car ends up the same then so much the better. The current 3 series coupe is bland in the extreme, with the interior same as the saloon. More individuality inside and out is to be applauded IMO.

Design is subjective...
I personally hate Porsche/Audi interiors and love BMW interiors.
So it might be that different people like different designs and not that BMW interior design is bad.
In general I find the new 4 series exciting.
Shame we won't see again the M3 coupe :(

I suppose it might look good to those who like BMW's recent design language. A mixed bag of a design.
The front and rear bumper have been grossly over-designed on purpose to create an impression of dynamism. This deducts points, for my liking.
Why people cannot enjoy simple designs anymore without all these superfluities
+1

Looks stunning IMO.
Hence why BMW are trying everything to get sales up on the current M3. If the M4 looks like the above, it surely makes the E90's look seriously out of date.
