It looks like a car that was designed in 2005 to be a 2008 model. Its design elements look like they borrowed body parts from a Cadillac CTR, a Ferrari 599 and then melted them into something that already looks...... dated.
The only real leap forward in its performance will likely be due to the recent advances made in tire compound technology. Any change to the interior can only be good, the rest of it will be probably be just another iteration of a Corvette, replete with foggy steering feel, same bad handling on wet roads and that lack of feeling of being made from one block of something goos, like metal. Instead its just a great engine mounted into something made of fiberglass resin and bolted onto ladder frame.
Price hike, yes. Improved traction, no. Likely just another new Corvette and not really a better car.
