My dealer had offered me a beautiful M6 Cab a couple of weeks ago, I almost fell for it but realized that if the C63 sucks in winter time, so does the M6. Still...the Cab is great, the rear seats are fully usable and the trunk also has a lot of room. Price tag was attractive too, dealer offered a very good deal. Car didn't have ceramic brakes though.

It's time for my F10 530d to move on. Any thoughts on the 650i Gran Coupe (M Sport pack)? Much as I love it the M6 Gran Coupe is just out reach. Realistically I need four doors on a regular basis. Cannot bring myself to like a Panamera and after a bad ML experience I won't be looking at Mercedes anytime soon again. I was offered a nearly new M5 on very good terms but after two years with the 5 series I'm ready for a different shape.
Thanks in anticipation.

I had a wintertraining from BMW in the swiss alps - where I had for the 2 days a 650 grand coupe x-drive and I LOVED it. The 450hp engine is all you need....fantastic car !
Have the same car since Oct. 12 and therefore experienced with a full winter season.
Can agree 100%. The GC is totally well balanced and the 450hp engine deliver its power with 650nm over a wide rev bandwidth. Even on snowy roads you get a feeling like driving on rails. The best BMW as DD with a very good overall package.
Thanks all. This is music to my ears.
Dario, nice car! Judging by the wheels your M is Competition Package equiped? If you have a profile photo of the car and wheels handy, it'll be great to see. I've only seen them as a standalone wheel in the brochure and not on a car. I read an American review somewhere which commented that the Competition Package "constantly reminds you that you traded any comfort for track capability" and that the steering is too direct anywhere else other than on a track, whatever mode you select. I found this rather strange as I do not consider a 6 to be a track car by any stretch of the imagination nor do I think that BMW would develope and market the pakage with only a very few track orientated clients in mind. By the way I'm also leaning towards white.
Yes you are correct, competiton package with ceramic Brakes. I Wasnt sure if i should go for the competion package wheels (601) or not. Because the photos are a bit missleading. But in reality they look mutch better and for my taste better then the normal wheels. So i am happy that i took this decision. Brakes, ceramic is definitly worth on the m6, you feel it stright away. Competiton package= no difference in comfort mode put in Sport plus mutch better and less Body role. Take it. Coloour= frozen brillian white. In flat light it looks really white, in sunshine just a bit of yellow in it. i can recomande it. sorry no picts of Profil..
