Lars997:
Absolutely stunning! I love the details in the interior, everywhere you look you can discover little details of love build into this dream on wheel! Enjoy it!
Question.... is it now a carbon or an Aluminum body?
Thanks Lars.
The chassis is a 964, so steel and every body panel is made of carbon fibre, front wings, rear wings, front hood etc. The roof is steel because it is a structural part of the chassis.

Futch: I am currently on holiday in London staying at the Marriott, Maide Vale and am prepared to swap out my 2 kids for the car. Please let me know if you are interested - leaving on Thursday.
Budster, perhaps you should mention if your interest is in a permanent swap, or just until you leave ??
Many congratulations Futch - I'm not a fan of the older 911s but this I would be happy to own :)
One question - Porsche Germany do complete restorations of older cars. Why did you choose Singer over Porsche? Is it because the additions to the Singer improve the car or something else ?
Great way to start 2013!

Oh permanent: they are good for general household chores etc. how about futch takes the kids permanently if only I can have the car for a few days?
Can they clean, buy groceries, cook and babysit? If so, you can have the car for one month.
Yes (well, maybe at least - all untested!). Anyway, at least my bragging rights extend to "I had the opportunity once to drive a Singer for a month..."!
Porsche Carrera GTS (2012); Porsche Cayenne Diesel (2012)

The classic department of Porsche is pretty poor, expensive and for classic cars, there are much better guys out there, Gunnar Racing, Crubile Sport, Etc. only to name a few.
However, the Singer is a different kinda car all together, 60s looks with modern technology, so there's nothing classic about, Porsche wouldn't approve of the project I think.
Singer is Porsche a bit what Eagle is to the E Type in the UK I guess.

Amazing project and car, congrats
There was a company in Germany making the same project on the Gullwing models, 50 classic looks with 90 (at time) technology, you could use it everyday.
