SportCarGroup:
Very beautifull car, but l'm a Porsche man for years and I thought it will grow on me...but NO. Perhaps I'm too conservative, but all these Cayenne's, Macan's and Panamera's is NOT a proper Porsche! Pretty sad, but I have noticed that for the last 5-8 years, Porsche is going away from the classic Porsche design. IMO
The question is: What is the classic Porsche design? The 911 shape?
I don't have any problem with the Panamera or Cayenne design, they both look like Porsche cars too me. I'm not too fond of the Panamera design because the car looks a little bit "massive" too me but the Cayenne design is actually pretty good, considering the size of the car. I actually think that the 957/958 are closer to the "proper" Porsche design than the 955 and the Panamera actually looks like a Porsche on first sight.
I get your point but I think that Porsche had to evolve and get away from the 911 tradition because with the 911 alone, the company wouldn't have survived.
