    When the blue 997TT pulls up to the start line....the silver car is a 996TTS....check out the exhaust. Later it's a silver 997TT in the video.

    eagle eyes.... took me a second look adter reading your post.

    was surprised that blue car was smoking the silver one on that run. man vs tip would not make such a difference.

    997tt vs 996tt does ! although I dont think the silver one is a TTS.

    realy got me thinking....even we porschephiles need a second look to tell which is which.

    Excellent video Rossi!
    BTW guys, silver Turbo is manual with optional LSD! No matter if TIP is faster in straight line... Did you see work of LSD on those drifts!
    My Turbo will be manual with LSD!
    And Bi-color black/teracotta interior looks nice too...

    great video! still don't like the turbo's design details, but the overall car is growing on me.

    unfortunately its not a 996 tts but just a tt. The twin tips are an extra that can be added to any turbo. It would not make sense to race the 996tts to the 997tt anyway..
    In any case the car looks fast (for a stock car) and the suspension looks pretty impressive. There is some lateral movement that is needed for max grip under acceleration and braking but hardly any roll at all..!

    The grip of the manual with lsd is pretty impressive, can you imagine that the tip could do any of this? I dont.
    RC is there still time to change your tip order to a more sensible manual with lsd?

    Nice!!The car and the driver are really good.Those drifts looked really cool,like the ones of a WRC.

    How is it possible that the tires squeal on a wet surface?Is it because it has new tires on it?because of the track?..

    I never heard my tires squeal on a wet surface.My car just under- or oversteers and that's it.If it oversteers(a lot),the whole car starts to vibrate and makes quite a lot of noise,like sometimes with the wipers.But the tires don't squeal...

    I'm just curious to know.It's not my goal to make tires squeal.

    Car is growing on me, but I STILL don't like the rear Wing design. To big and do wide.

    I had the same problem. Try to reboot your computer to see if it helps. It worked fine for me after the reboot.

    How do you know the silver one in the video is manual with LSD?

    Silver on S-GO-18 is manual with LSD and Sport Chrono Turbo, S-GO-13 is TIP without Sport Chrono Turbo. Info is from my friend who works at P.
    BTW, TIP car was used for pics in latest Top Gear mag...

    The AWD drive really provides the traction and control most of us need in a high performance car. However, it did look more constrained in maneuverability as compared to a GT3 or C2.

    I'm not sure I'd want more manoeuvrability in a road car, which won't be used at the track. For agility, the GT3RS will be hard to surpass.

    I was thinking, it doesn't make any sound esp. for a 500 hp car.

    Also the wheel wells are too big relative to the size of the car highlighted by the light body color. Better get black.

    The traction on the start from 0 on that skidpad was incredible.

    It will be sweet when porsche puts its technical prowess in a fresh beautiful design like a high end panamera.
