458 Spider
So I found myself with a few hours to burn near Dulles Airport Thursday, and stopped by Ferrari of Washington just north of the airport, because I have long since wanted to familiarize a little with F-cars. I was hoping to see a 458 in particular, and they had a couple on consignment there. What a fabulous car. No offense to any of the other models or varieties, but the 458 spider particularly caught my imagination. My complements to all you here who have one in your garage!
I also got a great tour and friendly lesson from Daniel (Dyer I think; I misplaced his card during the shuffle through security). I assumed that the staff there would be a little standoffish, especially to a passerby, but he was both friendly, and adept on a variety of marks and features. If you are nearby, I'd recommend stopping by to see him - especially in the early afternoon, when the place was quiet. If you're a Lambo man, you'll find them on hand there as well.
Just thought I'd share a good time with you all...
