very interesting performance indeed, and also avaiable in AWD, the 530 hp tops 307kmh and 0-100kmh in 4,7
WOW!!!!, if it was beautiful, what a car!!!!!!
I read the AWD is availble only on the V6 engine . Will be a tough sell in Europe.
Do you know anything more about the V6? it will be assembled together with the V8 by Ferrari , I guess it is a new development.

Perhaps there will be another engine in-between?
The secret of life is to admire without desiring.

Wrong information. Rossi has the right specs. A fully loaded V8 QP is cheaper than a good equipped Panamera Turbo. The new QP is competitive regarding the prices to all its competitors, if you respect the standard options.
The car has a downsized all new twin charged turbo engine, the all new 8-speed automatic ZF, a all new touchscreen navigation with DAB and audio streaming. I attend at the private preview here in Germany. The car seems bigger than the old one, but show me a new follower which looks lighter and smaller. The new QP is lighter than the old one. The interior now is cleaned and has clear lines. The performance figures are absolutely okay for a sedan. Less than 5 sec for the standard sprint, less than 13 liter fuel consumption, max speed over 300 km/h, cross wheigt under 2t, car balance of 50/50 and of course a grown space inside of the car and the trunk. Max torque should be 710 NM, as they told me. In real the car looks much better than in pictures. We should wait for the first testdrives in January.

I like the new front! I never driven one myself but my friend has one and he took me for a 400 km trip. If compared to my 7 BMW its a huge category of cars. Maserati is a sport car with 4 doors and the 7 is a luxury sport sedan. I depends on the purpose you want it for. If you want to eat miles the Maserati is the wrong car, its strength is in the city - acceleration on lower speeds, high revs .... awesome sound!
What sport would someone want to do in a huge car of 2 tons and 5+ meters carrying 2-3 passengers?
The emphasis should on pace with comfort for a long trip. This is why the S class is the king in this category. There are other categories for sporty driving.

Thats more or less what I'm saying! Just - if you dont do to many long drives and you like to have something sporty - but you need 4 seats because of kids..... in that case the Maserati might be the right choice.
For me - I prefer the luxury of the 7 on the long haul and the sportiness of the Porsche on those rare occasions to run around some corners! And of course - when going out with the family I love the Range Rover....

This is a very rational garage that covers all needs. Three very honest cars
Any of the other two are diesel?

Yep.... The Range is a TDV6 and the BMW a 740d.... rational!
the thinking man's choice.
Yep.... I wanted the new 750d but would have needed to wait for 7 months! The 740 was in within 6 weeks - so I got another one as I was already very happy with the processor (had it for 20 months ~ 100.000km, not a single issue).
