    Painting the GT2 Front Lip?

    I still don't know what I like more.
    How do you think about the painted front lip?

    Hi,

    I'd prefer the regular (not paited) version. If you have to deal with parking structures it's a plus.

    Hi CR,
    If you go for the painted lip, you should painted the lower part of the side skirts too, would look lower and nicer but Thomas has a point, they are made for chipstones and parking hits, etc. so the scratches will be more visible.

    If you paint the sideskirts and lower part of the rear bumper too, yes. If not, stay with the black one.
    Personally, I prefer the black one anyway (looks more sporty) but I guess this is a matter of personal taste.

    Thank you all for sharing your thoughts.

    Unfortunately I'm still not sure what to do. I had installed the painted lip for several weeks. Now after switching to the black (original) one I'm thinking there's something missing

    The black lip might look more sporty and more aggressive, but as Fanch said, the pained version looks lower and nicer Of course I would also paint the sideskirts and the lower part of the rear bumper too

    CR...for my idea...painted looks better,but it seems not real...like an aftermarket parts...black seems more aggressive,is simple to take in good conditons....bo???

    Definitively if you paint all,front bumper,sideskirts and rear bumper ok..but if you stay with only the frontlips painted..NO!

    All black or all painted!

    ... and I gonna paint the side skirts and the lower part of the rear bumper too

    I know the front looks more genuine and more aggressive with the black lip but I prefer the more elegant look. And with the painted parts the car also looks much lower.

    Just to keep you informed ... since some of you have been involved in this decision

    I bet you'll be the guy who drives a red Porsche at age of 60.

    BTW: I also think that the painted lip looks better on a silver car. On a red car however, I'd prefer the black one.
